Special Features:
1. The plastic material makes it waterproof and sturdy. It is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and easy to use
2. It must be used with bait, such as pheromone-based attractants or other types. It will capture specific insects depending on your bait. Please note that baits or pheromone lures are not included
3. Anti-escape structure: The built-in inverted cone design makes it difficult for fruit flies to fly out once they enter, significantly improving trapping efficiency
4. Working principle: Fruit flies have a strong positive phototaxis to yellow; the yellow base actively attracts them to approach. The scent of the bait/liquid attractant (such as a sugar-vinegar solution or sex pheromone) further guides fruit flies into the trap. Once inside, they are trapped by the anti-escape mechanism and cannot find an exit, eventually falling into the bait liquid at the bottom and drowning
5. You can use it in two ways:
(1) Normal use: Place the trap with the translucent part facing up and the yellow part facing down. Then place it flat on a table or suspend it from a rope
(2) Upside-down use: Attach the green cover on top of the yellow funnel, then install the translucent part so that the translucent part faces down and the yellow part faces up. For details, please contact customer service
