Special Features:
1. Stainless steel material. Sturdy, durable, corrosion resistant, and rustproof. Suitable for the damp and harsh environment inside drainage systems
2. One way serrated flap design. Allows wastewater and solid waste to flow out normally, while the serrated flap swings closed to prevent rats from passing through or chewing through the metal flap to move upstream
3. Easy to install. No professional experience needed and no long term maintenance required. Can be installed at either the inlet or outlet of the pipe. Simply snap the deviceinto the pipe, and the adjustable bolt on top accommodates the water flow direction
4. Blocks rodent entry. Prevents rats from entering buildings through the drainage system from sewers or broken pipes, including attics, homes, apartments, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, and more
5. Fits multiple pipe sizes. Available in 110mm and 150mm sizes. Compatible with standard residential and public drainage systems
6. Working principle. When rats try to crawl upstream from the downstream side, the flap closes under gravity, forming a physical barrier. Rats cannot push open or chew through the flap, thus they cannot enter the building
Easy to Use:
1. Locate the installation site. Find the pipe outlet inside the inspection chamber
2. Confirm the water flow direction. Make sure the flap opens and closes in the same direction as the water flow. If necessary, remove the top fixing bolt and switch it to the other end of the pipe
3. Insert and secure. Place the drain guard into the pipe. If the pipe is too large or too small, use a screwdriver to turn the top bolt so that it presses firmly against the inner wall of the pipe for a friction fit
4. Test the flap. After installation, manually flip the inner flap to ensure it swings freely back and forth without obstruction
