1.Unscrew the black cover of the mosquito egg trap and place a piece of white filter paper at the bottom of the trap
2. Add a small amount of tap water (about 20 ml) to moisten the paper, ensuring the water level does not exceed the convex surface at the bottom
3. Replace the black cover and place the trap at the designated monitoring sites
(1) Site monitoring: Select locations with high mosquito density and high human activity, such as residential areas, parks, construction sites, and hospitals. Place the trap in shaded areas (e.g., under trees or among flower beds) to avoid direct sunlight
(2) Placement time: On the fourth day after deployment (i.e., after three nights), inspect the trap, collect any mosquito eggs, and record the findings
(3) Adult mosquito and egg collection: Collect the adult mosquitoes and place them in a small centrifuge tube. Label and store the tubes in a liquid nitrogen tank. If necessary, return the mosquito eggs to the laboratory for rearing and drug resistance testing
