Special Features:
1. Strong DIY adaptability. Compatible with standard 1-5 gallon buckets. No dedicated container required – users can build their own fly trap using household buckets, offering low cost and high flexibility
2. The standard kit includes 4 units plus an instruction manual. Holes can be evenly spaced around the bucket body to significantly improve trapping efficiency, meeting the needs of large-area fly control
3. Escape- Proof design. A one-way funnel structure. The large entrance guides flies in, while the small exit prevents them from getting out. Combined with smooth inner walls and a tapered slope, the design achieves an escape prevention rate of 99%+
4. Standard hole saw compatibility. Fits a 1-5/8 inch (approx. 41.3 mm) US standard hole saw. No additional special tools are required – installation is truly hassle-free
5. Safety precautions. Traps containing bait must be kept away from food processing areas, children, and pets.Do not consume the bait mixture under any circumstances. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
6. Working principle. The scent of the bait diffuses outward through the large entrance, attracting flies to approach and enter the product. Once inside, the flies cannot reverse direction or fly back out due to the funnel geometry
7. Wide outdoor applicability. Designed for yards, farms, outdoor dining areas, etc. Strong weather resistance makes it suitable for various outdoor environments
How to use:
1. Prepare the bucket. Using a 1- 5/8 inch hole saw, drill 4 evenly spaced holes as high as possible on the bucket body (near the rim). Ensure that after installation, the funnels will not be submerged by any liquid inside the bucket
2. Add liquid or bait. Fill the bucket with water (or mix with a dedicated bait). The water level should not exceed 1/2 of the bucket height to avoid covering the funnel exits
3. Install the DIY fly trap cones. Insert each fly funnel into the pre- drilled hole. Make sure the large end faces outward and the small end faces inward. Press firmly to create a snug, gap- free fit with the bucket wall
4. Place the trap. Hang or place the bucket 40-50 feet (approx. 12-15 meters) away from doors, windows, patios, or areas where people gather. This prevents bait odors from affecting living spaces. For best results, position the trap downwind of the activity area, allowing the bait scent to naturally diffuse and attract flies
